Prime Video is gearing up to release the highly anticipated film adaptation of Ali Hazelwood's bestselling novel, The Love Hypothesis. The movie, which streams globally on September 23, stars Lili Reinhart and Tom Bateman as two academics navigating a fake relationship.

This rom-com follows Olive, a Ph.D. candidate, who impulsively kisses Professor Adam Carlsen to convince her friend she's over her crush. Their arrangement evolves into a mutually beneficial, fake relationship.

Lili Reinhart, known for Chemical Hearts, takes on the role of Olive. Tom Bateman, from Hedda, plays the intimidating Professor Adam Carlsen.

The supporting cast includes Rachel Marsh as Olive's best friend Ahn and Nicholas Duvernay as Jeremy, Olive's crush. Claire Scanlon directs the film, with Sarah Rothschild penning the screenplay based on Hazelwood's novel.
