Question 1

How do I submit my AI startup to the directory?

Accepted Answer

This page lists one kind of profile: an organization, meaning a company or a firm. Search by name first, and if it is already listed, claim it and verify you run it. If it is not listed, create it by filling in the fields, or paste the website so the profile is filled from it. It goes live right away on the free listing with a working website, and a daily pass adds founders, funding and more from public sources.

Question 2

Will this help AI assistants like ChatGPT and Claude recommend my startup?

Accepted Answer

That's the point. Every profile is server-rendered and marked up with JSON-LD, so answer engines (ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Gemini) can parse and cite it when someone asks for tools in your space. This is answer-engine optimization (AEO), not just classic SEO. Set your own search title, meta description, and target keyphrases at submit time, then optimize continuously with the real-time SEO Oracle. Our agent-readiness scoring also shows how machine-readable your own site is.

Question 3

Should I submit a new profile or claim an existing one?

Accepted Answer

If your company is already in the directory, it will show up in the search results on this page. Click Claim and verify ownership via your work email or LinkedIn. Claimed profiles unlock editing, team management, product posts, analytics, and the option to request a Claude's Corner editorial review. If we do not have it yet, click Create new. Both routes land in the same directory with the same profile features.

Question 4

Why list on StartupHub.ai?

Accepted Answer

Discoverability: profiles are server-rendered, in our sitemap within the day, and structured with JSON-LD so they are eligible for AI-search citation and Google rich results. Distribution: 3M+ monthly readers and 8M+ pageviews across the directory, with 23,000+ AI startups and 13,000+ investors and a 62k newsletter. Investor and buyer pipeline: investors filter by sector, stage, and geography and AI buyers search by use case. Editorial coverage: listed profiles can request a Claude's Corner review, a full technical and business write-up shared on our social channels.

Question 5

What does it cost to submit?

Accepted Answer

Startups and investors can publish a Free Basic listing: name, logo, description, category, location, website and social links, checked against your company website. The full listing is $5 per month, or $40 per year (save 33%), and unlocks every field (FAQs, team, products, competitors, funding, SEO title and meta), a homepage boost and the option to hide ads. Cancel anytime and the profile drops back to the free listing.

Question 6

How long until my profile shows up on Google and AI search?

Accepted Answer

Your profile is searchable inside StartupHub.ai as soon as it is published, and it appears on its category pages. Free profiles are submitted to search engines once they show substance: a complete description, a working website, and signs that people look for the company. Filling in the profile is the fastest way for a free profile to qualify. Starter profiles ($5 a month) are always eligible for Google indexing.
