HC Vision has developed a technology that allows conventional cameras to increase their spectral resolution, enabling them to capture information over a wide range of wavelengths without the need for specialized equipment or controlled lighting. Conventional cameras capture images using only three frequency bands (red, blue, and green), but there is much more information hiding within the visual spectrum. The capabilities offered by HC Vision enable higher-quality RGB image acquisition as well as advanced features such as material sensing. By introducing low-cost hardware modifications, HC Visions technology can further augment existing CMOS/CCD sensors with up to a 1% increase in light sensitivity and heightened hyperspectral accuracy.
