Deep Science Ventures (DSV) is a pioneering organization that operates a Venture Science Doctorate program. This program aims to cultivate a new archetype of 'Venture Scientist' equipped to tackle significant global challenges in health and planetary sustainability. DSV provides an all-expenses-paid doctoral experience, granting participants complete autonomy to define their research topics and access to a global network of over 30 world-class labs. This model removes traditional academic constraints, allowing scientists to freely move between institutions to pursue their research. The core philosophy is to start with a target societal outcome and build a high-impact company around it, mitigating the financial risks often associated with deep science research and entrepreneurship. Past fellows are working on areas like boosting longevity for women, scaling energy transition through advanced fusion reactors, and extending human lifespan through protein signaling.
